Former Lagos state gubernatorial candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi, has been detained by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for attend a party at Funke Akindele’s home, contravening the lockdown order in Lagos state.
Gbadamosi, who was the candidate of Action Democratic Party in the last elections, was detained after being spotted in a viral video from a birthday party organised by Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele for her husband, Abdul-Rasheed Bello.
The party held in Amen Estate, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos state on Saturday and had more than 20 people in attendance.
The Guardian quoting a police source at the command headquarters said that Gbadamosi has been detained and may not be released by the law enforcement agency until he has been charged to court.

Meanwhile, the police on Monday charged Akindele and her husband before a Chief Magistrates’ court in Lagos.
Both were sentenced to 14 days community service and 14 days isolation with a fine of N100, 000 each.
Also, controversial musician, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, was detained in connection with the party on Monday and is expected to be charged to court on April 7, (today).
