Northern youths have angrily burnt down posters with the face of super star musician Davido.
This followed the controversial music video of his signee, Logos Olori that the DMW boss shared on his official Twitter page.

The aggrieved youths in Maiduguri, capital of Borno expressed displeasure over the alleged disrespect the singer showed their religion.

The Nation reported that Davido posted the music video last Friday solely to promote his music artiste.

The contents of the video has gained so much traction, with Muslims, especially in the northern part of the country, accusing the singer of disrespecting Islamic beliefs and practices.

Following the controversy, the music star bowed to pressure and deleted the video but failed to tender an apology for his action as requested by MURIC.

A post shared by Arewa influencer, Sarki_Sultan on the mirco-blogging platform, Twitter, captured the moment a group of youths were seen burning the singer’s poster.

The Influencer further nudged the singer to ‘end this’ by saying ‘I am sorry.’

Davido, as of the time of filing this report, hasn’t responded. (The Nation)
