The Les Elephants of Algeria have defeated Ivory Coast 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw to seal a spot in the semi-final of the AFCON 2019.
Algeria took a lead after Sofiane Fegholi gave a superb strike, which was assisted by Bensebaini.
However, Jonathan Kodija equalised for Ivory Coast with a left foot drive from a great counter for Les Elephants.
The extra 30 minutes time yielded no goals and set both teams for a penalty-shootout where Algeria scored 4 of the goals while Ivory Coast scored 3 goals.
Algeria have sealed a spot in the semi-final to play against Nigeria on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
