Osun State Commissioner of Police, Babatunde Johnson Kokumo, Wednesday paid a courtesy visit on Oba Kayode Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu.
Speaking during the visit, Alapomu commended Kokumo for remarkable improvement in security and peaceful atmosphere in the state.
He said social vices such as kidnapping and banditry had reduced since Kokumo took over as Commissioner of Police.
Alapomu advised Kokumo not to relent in his efforts to make the State of Osun crime-free, while urging him to continue in the good job he is doing.

He also prayed for harmonious relationships and peaceful co-existence in the state of Osun.
In his response, Kokumo thanked the state government for giving him the needed support to perform and promised to do more to guarantee safety of lives and properties.
He thanked the Alapomu and his Chiefs for giving him a rousing welcome.
Before visiting the Alapomu , Kokumo went on familiarisation tour of police formations in Isokan Local Government Area whose headquarters is Apomu.
