Controversial Senator, Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West, has picked up the expression of interest and nomination forms for the Kogi governorship election promising to kick out the All Progressives, APC, from the state come November if given the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Speaking to journalists after picking up the forms at the PDP National Secretariat on Thursday in Abuja, he said his administration would rebuild and refocus the economy of the state if given the opportunity.

Melaye, who contended that he was the most experienced and qualified person for the office of Kogi state governor and that the PDP would dislodge the APC in the state for lack of performance by the state governor, Yahaya Bello, decried the security situation, non-payment of salaries and other issues in the state.

He said: “I am here to fix Kogi, we will bring back hope and unity among the people of Kogi State. We have passion for the people. “It’s not my ambition but the ambition of the people. The governor has not completed any single project in the state. We are ready to rebuild the state,”
