President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with Mr. Mohammed Liman over the death of Hauwa, his daughter, who was killed by the terrorists group, Boko Haram.
Hauwa Liman is one of the aids workers of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) kidnapped by Boko Haram during an attack on Rann in Borno State early in the year.
She was killed on Monday.
Commiserating with the father, Buhari said it was unfortunate that efforts by the Federal Government to secure her release was unsuccessful.
Buhari, according to a statement by his media aide, Garba Shehu, spoke with the bereaved father on telephone on Tuesday.

The president also spoke with the President of the ICRC, Peter Maurer, expressing his condolences over Hauwa Liman.
He stated the importance of ICRC to Nigeria and appealed that it should continue to help victims of insurgency.
He gave the assurance that the government would continue to do its best to ensure that the needed support are provided for their safe operations.
