APC changes dates of presidential, governorship primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has shifted the date of its presidential and governorship primaries.

The shift was announced by the National Organising Secretary of the APC, Ema Ibediro, in a statement issued on Wednesday.

While the governorship election was shifted from September 25 to 29, the presidential is shifted from September 20 to September 25.

The party official also disclosed that the primaries for the Senate and House of Representatives would hold on September 29, October 2, and October 3 respectively while the ones for the State House of Assembly and the national convention for the ratification of the APC presidential candidate would hold on October 4 and 6 respectively.
