Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba is the new secretary of the national convention committee of the All Progressives Congress.
His appointment followed the resignation of Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu.
Uwajumogu said he resigned for personal reasons and thanked the leadership of the party for the opportunity to serve.

The new secretary of the convention committee is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and heads the Niger Delta Development Commission.
Born on March 1956 in Ikom, Cross River State, he got his LLB degree at the University of Lagos and his LLM degree from the University of Calabar.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1978 and became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2004.
Ndoma Egba was a senator from 2003 to 2011 representing Cross River Central District in the National Assembly.
