Former Governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shema, believed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would emerge stronger after the national convention of the Party.

Shema made this known in an interview with The Next Edition at the venue of the on-going Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Reeling with confidence he said “I am confident that our great party will come out stronger after this election. We are also going to win the 2019 general elections.”

Asked what would happen if the outcome of the party brought about disaffection, he said “the party cannot afford to have problems at this stage,” adding “everyone is united in seeing that PDP bounces back”
