Majekodunmi, whose address was not given, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.

The Prosecutor, Insp Kehinde Fawunmi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence at about 6.00p.m on Dec 12, 2024, at Towdah Farms, in Abeokuta.

Fawunmi further said that Majekodunmi, a staff of the farm, conspired with others now at large, and stole 36 crates of eggs valued N180,000.

He said that the defendant also stole 50 birds valued N75,000, also belonging Towdah Farms.
The prosecutor said that the manager of farm noticed a drastic fall in eggs production in the farm, and called for investigation.

“Upon investigation they found two crates of eggs in a nearby bush, which were later traced to the defendant,”he said.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 516, 390 and 383 of the criminal code Laws of Ogun, 2006.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
