The Lagos State police have exhumed the body of Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.

The singer, a former signee of Naira Marley at Marlian Records, died on Sept. 12, at the age of 27.

The police said an autopsy would follow after the exhumation was accomplished.

Several Nigerian youths have staged peaceful protests around the country to demand justice for him since his demise.

Confirming the exhumation on Thursday morning, Lagos police spokesperson, Ben Hundeyin, said Mohbad’s body had been exhumed.

He said the autopsy will follow.

Hundeying made this known on X, formerly Twitter, saying, “Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence.”
