“The achievement matches the towering status and contributions of the senior journalist to the media and public relations industry.

“On behalf of the people and government of Kwara, I congratulate my friend and brother, Raheem Adedoyin, on the nomination.

“This only reaffirms his position as a quintessential journalist and leading media executive of many years standing.

“I have no doubt that Adedoyin will make a huge success of the appointment and do us proud in Kwara.

“As he steps up to the global stage to represent the media constituency, we pray the almighty Allah to guide and give him more rewarding years.
“We also pray for him to deliver excellently on the assignment, as he has always done in his previous undertakings,” AbdulRazaq said.

Adedoyin was unanimously nominated to represent Nigeria and Africa at the IPI executive board in Vienna at the Institute’s virtual extraordinary meeting held on October 6 at Daily Trust, Abuja..
