This year’s Grammy Awards has been postponed to March 14 because of COVID-19 concerns.

The award show was originally slated to take place on the January 31, on CBS live from Los Angeles Staples center with Trevor Noah as the host.

The Recording Academy released a statement that reads “After thoughtful conversations with health experts, our host and artists scheduled to appear, we are rescheduling the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards to be broadcast Sunday, March 14, 2021.”

According to them, the health sector is overwhelmed with COVID cases and nothing is more important than the health and safety of the music community.
