The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has warned the All Progressives Congress, APC, against a political tsunami that will sweep it away from government in 2019.

He said with the activities lined up for the next couple of weeks, there would no longer be APC.

Secondus who spoke during the formal declaration of the presidential ambition of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at a rally in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, declared that APC had totally collapsed.

He said the mammoth crowd at the rally was a confirmation of the acceptance that the PDP enjoyed.

“This is a large crowd, and as you can see, the PDP is now the party of choice.  I know that as we proceed in the coming weeks there will be a political tsunami and there will be no APC anymore.

“You are aware that APC has failed completely to provide the security for our people.  People are being killed across the states.  They killed them in Zamfara, Sokoto, Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Benue, Plateau State.  All over the country, there has been blood and blood is flowing.  Is this the kind of government you want?  No.

“They are corrupt; the leaders of APC are in the valley of corruption.  The government has collapsed; the economy has collapsed.  We are on a rescue mission.  We are coming like train.  APC will be crushed in the name of our Lord, Almighty God.”

Secondus pledged that with PDP government in place, all youths would be employed.

He called on everyone to join PDP, since, according to him, APC had collapsed.

Senator Ben Murray Bruce also spoke at the occasion, campaigning for Atiku.

He stressed that Nigeria needed a leader like Atiku to rescue the nation from the pains of poor economy, insecurity and unemployment.

He said Atiku was the leader who could bring about the real change that the country needed.
