Ahead of the 2019 general election, the Peoples Democratic Party has announced sale of forms for different political positions on its platform.
This is to enable it conduct primaries to pick its candidates for the different positions.
The announcement was made on the party’s twitter handle, Official PDP Nigeria.
The tweet reads: “The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the commencement of sale of Expression of Interests and Nomination Forms for the 2019 General Elections…”
The announcement was with the cost of the forms for the different categories.

For the Presidential position, the cost is N12 million; Governorship is N6 million while the Senate is N3.5 million.
The cost of the form for the House of Representatives is N1.5 million while that of the State House of Assembly is N600,000.
The forms are said to be available in the Office of the National Financial Secretary at the party’s secretariat.
In the announcement which was signed by the National Organising Secretary, Austin Akobundu, the party said the form should be purchased and submitted on or before September 6, 2018.
