In a tweet, President Buhari thanked Adeboye for the visit.

His words:  “I thank Pastor Adeboye for visiting today, and for his prayers and good wishes. May God continue to bless him and his work.”

Adeboye’s visit came barely a day after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, visited him.

‎The president has been on medical vacation in London for over 100 days.

His stay without a definite date of return has sparked off the fire of disenchantment in some quarters in Nigeria.

The disenchantment led to a series of protests.

The latest of such is one led by popular entertainer, Charly Boy.

The protesters called on the president to either resume or resign.

However, during a visit to London by his media team, the president had disclosed that although he had become healthier, his doctors had not permitted him to return home.

Dogara and Saraki who visited him on Thursday also confirmed the improved health of the president.

The< two top political office holders declared that he was good to go home.
