Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Prof Akin Abayomi has disclosed that participants at the recently held Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award were exposed to a confirmed case of coronavirus.
He made the disclosure in a series of tweets on Tuesday.
The AMVCA 7 was held on March 14 at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Abayomi, who therefore advised all who attended the event to observe strict self-isolation.
Presently, Lagos State accounts for 29 out of the 42 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
