The coordinator said that some of the civil cases were resolved out-of-court.

According to him, most of the civil cases were related to default in payment of pension and retirement benefits, mostly by privately-owned companies and Pension Fund Administrators (PFA).

He said that other cases bordered on land disputes, marriage issues and debt recovery.

“Some of the criminal cases handled include armed robbery, criminal breach of trust, homicide, rape and theft,” Labaran said.
