New Commissioner of Police Resumes Duty in Benue

The new Commissioner of Police for Benue State, CP Mukaddas Muhammad Garba has resumed duty at the State Police Command.

A press statement signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP. Anene Sewuese Catherine and made available to the Next Edition, stated that the new CP resumed duty May 7, 2019.

The statement read in part, “Until his posting to Benue State Command, he was a Commissioner of Police at the office of the National Security Adviser.

“The new Commissioner of Police assures the general public of his commitment to rid the state of crime, in collaboration with other security agencies and cooperation of the good people of Benue state.”
