Suspected Killers of Anambra Community Leader Arrested- Obiano

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano on Sunday said the alleged killers of the President General of Nimo Town in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state, Anthony Igboka, have been arrested.

Obiano disclosed this during a thanksgiving mass for the family of Prof. Greg Nwakoby, Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Awka, which held at St Williams Catholic Church, Nkwelle Ezunaka.

According to him, the suspected killers would soon be paraded by the police.

The governor also disclosed that kidnappers of a banker at Otuocha in Anambra East Council have been caught.

He urged residents of the state to go about their lawful business activities as the security apparatus was still the best, insisting that Anambra was still one of the safest states in the country.

Obiano warned that no criminal would be allowed to walk freely in the state.

Recall that Igboka was murdered on April 17 in his hometown.
