He said that some persons including a top management staff of the polytechnic had been quizzed during Police’s preliminary investigation.

Chukwuebo, a contractor with the Delta State Polytechnic was in charge of the production of school identity cards for the students of the institution before his contract was terminated a few years back.

It was alleged that he was disengaged by the school management as a result of recruitment of staff that took charge of the ICT centre of the school, a decision that led to litigations between the contractor and the school authority as the late Chukwuebo was said to have slammed the school with N15 million damages for unlawful termination of their contractual agreement.

It was alleged that the contractor met his death the day he visited the institution apparently to negotiate an out of court settlement with the school authority.
