Delta State Governor’s Aide on Media, Mr. Ossai Success, has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, Great Ogboru, would be defeated again by the Incumbent, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa.

He said the incoming defeat will make it record 6th time Ogboru would be defeated by former Governors including Chief James Ibori, and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.

Ossai who made this known in a radio programme in Asaba, the Delta State capital during the weekend noted that Ogboru will be defeated by Governor Okowa’s achievements.

“Governor Ifeanyi Okowa being an experienced politician in the past years has been able to do justice to the State resources in bringing prosperity to Deltans.

“Ogboru is not a grassroots politician but diaspora politician that knows nothing about the state.

“He only comes to Delta State every election period to contest, as a rich man he claims he is, he hasn’t impacted his community.

“Ogboru will be defeated again the same way former Governors, Chief James Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan defeated him.

Governor Okowa in the past three and half years has utilised the state resources wisely despite the recession by constructing over 300 roads, empowered over 40,000 youths through the Job Creation office, revamped Technical Colleges, constructed over 4, 738 classrooms and drainages to check flood. In the course of this year, the proposed construction of drainage projects in Effurun/Warri axis with budgetary provision to the tune of N3 billion is also to his credit.

“Okowa has kept his Covenant with Deltans by spreading infrastructural development, human capital development, job creation to the three senatorial districts that make up the state.

“The opposition parties in the state have nothing to campaign about unlike Governor Okowa who is going about campaigning with his achievements,” he said.
