She maintained that she has her eyes on the development of her communities stating that if elected and gets access to constituency funds, she will revive all public schools in Kwande/Ushongo constituency.

The House of Reps hopeful decried the state of most public schools in the state saying she would ensure that children of the down trodden get access to quality education and in a conducive environment too if elected.

“If voted in and I have access to constituency funds, I will seek the revival of public schools in my domain. Our public schools have been abandoned and if our legislators were giving attention to education, the children of the down trodden will also be able to school in a very conducive environment.”

Kumbur also said she will seek collaboration with NGOs and health agencies to offer free medical care to women and children from age one to seven year.

The House of Reps hopeful also pledged to attract commercial banks to establish in her area to end the continuous robbery of farmers and traders along that axis just as she will woo foreign investors into one of Benue’s tourist site, the Ikyogen Cattle Ranch.

She assured that when the banks and investors come; they will provide the much needed employment opportunities for the teeming youths of the area who are roaming the streets in search of jobs.

She hinted that since her undergraduate days, she had wanted to do something better to develop her community.

According to her, winning the Kwande/Ushongi seat will give her an authority to pursue and implement legislations that will turn around the fortunes in her constituency.

“As an undergraduate in unijos, I had employed graduate Engineers to maintain the Katsina Ala bridge when I was awarded the contract and from the proceeds, I built a country home and sank a motorized borehole to provide clean water for my people.

“I gave scholarship to students behind the cameras and have supported widows.

“My people are major citrus and rice farmers and there are bad roads everywhere such that they can’t get these items to the nearest market.

“I desire a change. I want to have an authority to pursue implementation of legislations in my constituency.

“I am willing to be a servant leader and when my people of Kwande/Ushongo decide to send me, they will not regret it,” she added.
