Mark Hughes has been sacked by Southampton.
He was sacked on Monday by the club management.
The club has already announced the need for a new coach in a statement, saying: “The search for a new manager to take the club forward is already under way.”
The Saints have managed six draws, one win and lost seven out of the 14 matches played so far in the season. On Saturday, December 1, they drew with Manchester United in the Premier League and are 18th on the table.
Meanwhile, Kelvin Davis has been appointed to take over the team for the match against Tottenham on Wednesday 5th December, 2018.

Mark Hughes was a onetime player in Southampton before rejoining the club as a coach after he was sacked at stoke city.
He joined the club last season when the club was a point above relegation zone and he managed two wins from the four matches left.
Southampton was beaten by Fulham 3-2 and was also knocked out of the EFL Cup on penalties by Leicester before the draw against Manchester United.
Hughes, assistant first-team manager Mark Bowen and Coach Eddie Niedzwiecki have all left the club.
