PPA’s Ameh emerges chairman as IPAC gets new national officers

The National Chairman of the Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA), Peter Ameh, has been elected the new National Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC).

Ameh, who emerged on Wednesday after a tension soaked election in Abuja, defeated Chief Chekwas Okorie who is the national chairman of the United Peoples Party (UPP).

According to a press release made available to The Next Edition, Geff Ojinika defeated Benson Garshon to emerge deputy chairman.

Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere of the All Progressive Party (APP) defeated Yusuf Ibrahim and Yakubu Shendam to emerge the National Publicity Secretary.

Also, Dakpokpo Georgina defeated Gani Galadima to emerge National Secretary, while Eunice Atuejide floored Abubakar Sokoto to emerge Deputy National Secretary.

Okey Chikwendu defeated Umar Kumshe to emerge National Treasurer, while Rev Olusegun Peters floored Kenneth Kalu to emerge National Financial Secretary.

This was as Hamisu Santuraki upstaged Rabia Cengiz to emerge National Organisisng Secretary, while Barrister Kenneth Udeze, national chairman of Action Alliance (AA) defeated Suleiman Akasawua to emerge the Legal Adviser.

However, Geff Ojinika, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere and six others emerged as IPAC new national officers.
