The campaign for the second term bid of Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, came alive in Lagos on Saturday.

Indigenes of Akwa Ibom resident in Lagos State, under different groups, trooped out and gathered at Ojuelegba from where they marched to the National Stadium at Surulere, Lagos.

During the 5,000 man-march, the supporters sang praises of Emmanuel, extolling his virtues and achievements in office with different banners.

At the march were, among others, the Personal Assistant to the wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor on Protocol Matters, Mrs. Nsikan Ukpanah; wife of Chairman, Uyo Local Government area, Mrs Idara Imoh Okon and Personal Assistant (Protocol) to Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Anthony Ukpe .
