The presidential candidate of KOWA Party in Nigeria’s 2015 elections, Prof. Remi Sonaiya, has condemned the recent killings in Plateau State where several lives were lost.

She blamed the Buhari-led administration for not doing enough to put an end to the killings allegedly carried out by herdsmen.

Sonaiya took to her twitter page to express her disappointment.

She wrote: “What on earth is going on? Why is it impossible for the police to arrest or stop these killer herdsmen? Why is there no (believable) outrage on the part of President Muhammadu Buhari?

“A government that is incapable of stopping the killings happening in Plateau, Benue and others places, has no moral right to leadership.”

She further berated the president for issuing statements without taking the steps to end the carnage.

The former presidential aspirant said:  “It is very unfortunate we are told. So the rustling goes on, and the killings and the politicians keep taking advantage of it all. And the best our leader can say is: “How unfortunate.” Until the next attacks?”
