The Governor of Bauchi State, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, has declared Thursday public holiday ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit.
The president will on Thursday start a two day visit to the state.
The holiday, according to a statement issued by the governor’s media aide, Ali M. Ali, is to enable all and sundry to give the president a rousing reception.

During his visit, Buhari will commission some projects especially roads.
He will also flag off the distribution of 500 tractors to farmers in the state.
In a broadcast in the state, the governor had earlier called on the people of the state to come out to receive the president.
