The Ekiti PDP Youths Alliance has lambasted the Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Biodun Olujimi for setting police to arrest Governor Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media,  Lere Olayinka and 20 other members of his team.

At about 4pm today in Ado-Ekiti, Mr. Lere Olayinka and others were picked up by the police who acted on the order of the senator Olujimi. The reason for the arrest was not made known as at the time of filing this report.

However, the PDP youths said in a statement signed by its Coordinator,  Olufemi Alonge that it was laughable that Senator Olujimi,  who was aspiring to be PDP flagbearer in the July 14 governorship election could be seeking the arrest of fellow party members just because they made comments on social media against her.

The group asked: who will now vote for her in the PDP primary election now that she is arresting party members?

The youths cautioned the police to be mindful of being misled by desperate politicians like Senator Olujimi.

They said it  was now clear as to the reason  she was slapped  inside the  National Assembly complex elevator  when she slapped a staff of  the National Assembly for using the same elevator with her.
