Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State on Thursday announced the dissolution of his cabinet.
He asked the Permanent Secretaries of the various ministries to take over with immediate effect.

According to a statement by his Director of Press, Mr. Emmanuel Nanle, in Jos, Lalong commended the outgoing commissioners for their selfless service and immense contributions to the delivery of the dividend of democracy to the people.
He wished them the best in their future endeavours.
