Many other dignitaries were also present to receive the president.

He is billed to commission some projects – Lafia Comprehensive Special School; Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Centre in Kwandere; Muhammadu Buhari International Market, Karu.

It would be recalled that no fewer than 4,000 officer and men of the Nigeria Police Force were deployed ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit.

Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Bello Ahmed, who disclosed this on Monday said it was to ensure a hitch-free visit of the president to the state.

The security arrangement, he said, was with sister security agencies.

According to him, no fewer than 3,000 officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and other security agencies would be working with the police.

The security personnel, he stated, would be in strategic positions in the state.

He also appealed to members of the public to be law abiding and ensure a hitch-free visit.
