Featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, “Funds” garnered an impressive 4.82 million streams in its first week, eclipsing Wizkid’s “Kese”, which previously held the record with 4.72 million streams.
TheDebutHub, a music monitoring platform, announced the new record on Twitter, stating that “Funds” had broken the record for the biggest first streaming week on Spotify Nigeria.
Davido responded to the achievement with a tweet, humbly attributing his success to a higher power, saying “We believe in God”.
