Benue Speaker Congratulates New Och’ Idoma, Hails Selection C’ttee On Transparency

Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Mr. Titus Uba, has on behalf of his family and members of the 9th Benue Assembly, congratulated the Och’Idoma- Elect, Pastor John Elaigwu Odogbo on his emergence as the 5th paramount ruler of Idoma Nation.

Uba, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Wuese Orshi, said Pastor Elaigwu is ascending the throne at a time the entire nation is in dire need of leaders with the passion, commitment and capacity to engender cohesion and promote prosperity and development.

The Speaker expressed confidence that the reign of the new paramount ruler shall bring enormous blessings to Idoma Nation, and in deed, the State considering his antecedents in Ministry and Public Service.

He commended Governor Samuel Ortom for providing conducive atmosphere for the selection process and the selection committee led by the Commissioner for Housing, Ekpe Ogbu for conducting a peaceful and transparent selection of the new paramount ruler.

Uba, on of the 2023 Governorship aspirant further wished the new Och’Idoma a fruitful reign and urged the Benue people to give his support and loyalty to succeed.
