The Federal Government has declared Thursday as Public Holiday to mark this year’s Eidul-Mawlid Celebration in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

This was announced by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement by Mohammed Manga, Director of Press & Public Relations.
The statement said: “The FG has declared Thursday October 29, 2020 as Public Holiday to mark this year’s Eidul-Mawlid Celebration in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
