Nigeria Records 601 New Coronavirus Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday confirmed 100 fresh cases of Coronavirus raising the total figure in the country to 55,005.

The agency also reported three deaths bringing the number of fatalities as of September 6, to 1,057.

Furthermore, the health body said 43,013 cases have been discharged across the country.

The 100 new cases, according to the NCDC were reported from 9 states and Abuja with Lagos recording the highest number, 39, while FCT and Kaduna followed with 22 and 19 respectively.

Others are; Oyo (7), Ebonyi (6), Edo (3), Katsina (1), Ekiti (1), Bauchi (1), Nasarawa (1).
