378 New Cases Raise Nigeria's COVID-19 Infections To 48,116, Death Toll Now 966

On Thursday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 373 new cases of Coronavirus infections and 10 deaths in Nigeria.

The disease control agency announced the new figures via a tweet on its verified Twitter handle.

It put the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country as of Thursday, August 13, at 48, 116 while total deaths stood at 966.

The agency further reported that a total of 34, 309 patients have been successfully managed and discharged across the country.

Details of the 373 new cases reported from 19 states and Abuja are as follows- Lagos(69), Osun(41), Kaduna(40), Oyo(40), FCT(35), Plateau(22), Rivers(19), Kano(17), Ondo(17), Ogun(15), Abia(14), Gombe(12), Imo(9), Enugu(7), Kwara(6), Delta(5), Niger(2), Borno(1), Bauchi(1) and Nasarawa(1).
