Represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Biodun Omoleye, the governor applauded the FRSC for doing its best to minimise road accidents and hazards, but cautioned them to avoid reckless drivers from crushing them while discharging their duties.

Fayemi said the government was ready to partner the FRSC in enhancing the capacities of drivers on the employ of the state government to curtail accidents and untimely deaths on roads.

The duo agreed to organise joint training and retraining courses to boost the driver’s efficiencies to abate carnage on Ekiti highways.

“We are not only interested in the safety of our citizens alone, I charge you as FRSC boss to inform your officers to be mindful of some care-free drivers when they are doing their stop and check on main roads.

The new Sector Commander, Mrs Akinlade, appreciated the government for the cordial relationship that has existed between the government and the command.
