A Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has restrained Mr. Victor Giadom, from parading himself as the Acting National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr. Giadom was the Deputy National Secretary of the ruling party until the suspension from office of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole by the Court of Appeal on Wednesday.
He declared himself the Acting National Chairman of the APC based on an order of the FCT High Court issued on March 16, 2020, by Hon. Justice S.U Bature in Suit No. FCT/HC/M/6447/2020 to the effect that Chief Victor Giadom is to act as the National Chairman of the party due to the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman.
After the suspension of Oshiomhole, Giadom sought an extension of the order, which was granted for two weeks.

However, in the new suit filed by Dele Moses and others, the presiding judge, Justice Florence Fiberesima, on Friday, granted an order of perpetual injunction restraining Giadom from parading himself as a member of the National Working Committee of the APC.
The Court also stopped Giadom from issuing, signing or endorsing any document or correspondence to the Independent National Electoral Commission or any other body or institution in the capacity of the National Chairman or Acting National Chairman of the APC or howsoever as an officer of the APC.
The judge ordered that Giadom could not be claiming to be a member of the NWC after resigning from his position to contest the 2019 general election as the Deputy Governor.
