3,912 Nigerians Infected With Coronavirus As NCDC Confirms 386 New Cases

The number of Nigerians infected with the Coronavirus on Friday rose to 3,912 with the confirmation of 386 new cases by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Lagos, which is the epicentre of disease, did not disappoint as it recorded 176 new cases out of the 386.

Again, Kano came in with the second highest number of 65 new cases.

Ten new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours taking the total number of deaths from 107 to 117.

The number of recoveries also rose from 601 to 679.

The details of the new cases are as follows:

386 new cases of #COVID19;

176-Lagos , 65-Kano, 31-Katsina, 20-FCT, 17-Borno, 15-Bauchi, 14-Nasarawa, 13-Ogun, 10-Plateau, 4-Oyo, 4-Sokoto, 4-Rivers, 3-Kaduna, 2-Edo , 2-Ebonyi, 2-Ondo, 1-Enugu, 1-Imo, 1-Gombe and, 1-Osun.

Discharged: 679
Deaths: 117.”
