195 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 195 new cases of COVID19 in Nigeria.

The announcement made via the centre’s verified Twitter handle showed that Lagos, the epicentre of the infection in Nigeria recorded 82 new cases, the highest among 11 states and the FCT with new cases, while Kano had 30, the second highest number.

The number of deaths from the infection has also risen to 103.

Meanwhile, the total number of the COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 3,145.

“195 new cases of #COVID19;
82-Lagos , 30-Kano, 19-Zamfara, 18-Sokoto, 10-Borno , 9-FCT, 8-Oyo, 5-Kebbi, 5-Gombe, 4-Ogun, 3-Katsina, 1-Kaduna and 1-Adamawa.

“3145 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria
Discharged: 534
Deaths: 103.”
