The Rivers State Government has debunked a false report published by some online media (not Next Edition) claiming that Mr. Promise Wosu, the Chief Security Officer, to the Rivers State Governor has been sacked.

The report has been described as false and lacked substance.
According to Simeon Nwakaudu,
Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, on Electronic Media, the report in its entirety is false and should be disregarded by the public.
