Love means different things to different people. “Anatomy of love” defines love as “arguably the most powerful emotion, driving mothers to superhuman feats of strength to save their children, and teenagers to defy all logic and reason in order to be together. But it is also one of the most difficult emotions to explain.”

Indeed, it’s difficult to really say what love really is and how to explain the feelings and emotions that come with it.

That means two people with both of their feet in the relationship working towards the common interest of the relationship, this Valentine’s Day, I and my partner will be at home relaxing. The most important thing for us is to be together to share our feelings and emotions.”

John Ogugua, Student: “Love is talking to each other and listening to each. Love is sharing your joy and sadness with your partner. I’ll make breakfast in bed for my lover and see how the day unfolds. I got her a gift too.”

Gift Udofia, Business woman; “Love is all about giving, giving and giving without expecting. Love is all about treating your partner as if you met today. That will make your relationship stronger. Today, I will give my hubby a treat, take him out and get him a gift.”

emotions and feelings change day by day, but love is something which is ever-lasting. Valentine’s Day is a time to show your loved one that you care. Caring, Giving and Loving are the keywords in love.”

Michael, Youth Corp member: “Loving someone doesn’t mean you have to tell them, it means you have to show them in your actions that you really do love them! Everything you do for them should show that you love him/her.” I just broke up with my partner but I’ll likely spend Val’s day with my friends.”

Riches Nsima, PRO; “ Love makes you a better person everyday and teaches you to live the right way. True love will treat you like a student and love you like a child !! Always remember that! I’m not really a Valentine’s Day person I just live everyday as it comes.”

Blessing Chuku, Business woman: ”Love is committing to another person, being faithful, getting up in the morning, going to work, coming home, going to bed and getting up and doing it all over again the next day. I will observe my own valentine‘s day with my husband by making a delicious meal for us. I try na.”

Emem Udomessien, Offshore Engineer; “Love is not just a word, it’s made of emotions, feelings, promises, trust and LOYALTY. Love is when you both don’t need to tell each other everything, you can understand without words sometimes.”

Sandra Nkem: “Each person has their own definition of love, the trick is finding someone whose definition most closely mirrors or suits yours. For me, your partner should love you any day and everyday not only on Valentine’s Day.”
