President Muhammadu Buhari is back in Nigeria.

He travelled to New York penultimate Sunday for the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Shortly after the United Nations event, Buhari made a stop over in London, promising to return to Nigeria on Monday.

His plane touched down at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Monday evening as scheduled.

Security was increased as soldiers and policemen were seen on the road to the Presidential Villa from the airport.

At the United Nations General Assembly, Buhari restated Nigeria’s commitment to democracy.

He also called on the UN to urgently wade into the crisis between North Korea and United States of America over nuclear programmes.
