Social media buzzed on Wednesday as President Bola Tinubu experienced a momentary slip while boarding the parade vehicle at the 2024 Democracy Day celebration.

Despite the stumble, Tinubu quickly regained his balance and continued with the event smoothly. This incident draws parallels with similar occurrences involving other world leaders:

1. President Joe Biden: March 2021, tripped on Air Force One stairs en route to Atlanta.

2. Robert Mugabe: February 2015, fell down a staircase at Harare International Airport.

3. President Gerald Ford: 1975, slipped on Air Force One in Vienna, Austria.

4. Fidel Castro: October 2004, fell off stage in Cuba, sustaining injuries.

5. Barack Obama: March 2015, stumbled on Air Force One steps but recovered gracefully.

6. Mike Pence: June 2020, had a similar moment on Air Force Two stairs.

7. Senator Tommy Tuberville: October 2023, fell down plane stairs, facing online mockery.

8. Hillary Clinton: 2011, slipped while boarding a plane to Yemen.

9. Vladimir Putin: 2019, fell during a hockey game victory lap in Sochi.

10. Boris Johnson: 2015, tripped during a charity tug-of-war event.
