Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, will take over as chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Governors’ Forum.
He will take over from Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State whose tenure will expire on February 3, 2020, according to a statement issued by Mohammad Bello, special adviser to governor Tambuwal.

Governor Tambuwal was the unanimous choice of all the governors in attendance at the party’s 88th National Executive Council (NEC) held at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata plaza, ABUJA.
Dickson was however absent at the meeting.
Accepting the responsibility, Tambuwal pledged to run an inclusive administration and to move the party forward.
