The Kaduna State Government has relaxed the 24-hour curfew in Kauru and Zango Kataf Local Government Areas of the state.
The government had on June 11 imposed the curfew following incessant killings in the Southern part of the state.
The state’s Commissioner for Internal Security & Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, made this known in a statement in Kaduna.

According to him, the curfew hours would now be 6p.m to 6a.m even as efforts to bring lasting peace to the area continue.
“As efforts to diminish perils to communities and promote peace continue, the Kaduna State Government has accepted the recommendation to relax the curfew in Kauru and Zangon-Kataf LGAs.
“Curfew hours will now be from 6.00 p.m to 6.00 a.m, effective from today (Saturday, Aug. 22).”
