Captain Mikel Obi, forward Odion Ighalo and Israel–based marksman Anthony Nwakaeme have been named as members of the Super Eagles’ squad against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions on 1 September.
Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, made this known on Tuesday when he released his list of players for the match.
Nigerian Football Federation website showed that Germany-based defender Leon Balogun returns after missing the World Cup qualifier against Algeria and the Africa Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Victor Moses is also back after missing participation in the duel with Bafana Bafana in June due to injury.
Rohr is using his regular squad, including goalkeepers Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Alampasu.
