The Police have commenced investigation into the killing of seven of its men by unknown gunmen in Abuja.
The policemen who were on patrol were killed Monday night at Galadimawa round-about.
But in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer FCT Police Command Abuja, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, the police were already working hard to unmask the killers.

Manzah said the Federal Capital Territory’s Commissioner of Police, Sadiq Bello, had reassured members of the public that the Command had deployed proactive security measures to protect lives and property in the Federal Capital Territory.
The police boss gave the assurance when he visited the scene of the incident for an on-the-spot-assessment.
While commiserating with the families of the deceased policemen, the police boss said machinery had already been set in motion to arrest the killer.
