Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, on Monday collapsed at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Metuh is being tried over alleged financial malpractices involving N400 million.
He was said to have collected the money illegally from the former National Security Adviser under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Sambo Dasuki.
Metuh was moving to the dock when he collapsed.
Family members and his physician rushed to assist him and Justice Okon Abang had to wait for him to be attended to.

He however later the trial must go on.
Metuh’s counsel, Emeka Etiaba, however disagreed that the case should continue.
He threatened to withdraw from the case, arguing that he did not know the condition of his client who was on a stretcher after the fall.
Justice Abang however refused his decision to withdraw from the case.
