Speaking through a statement issued from his office on Monday, Obasa said, “Your resilient commitment to the cause of the girl-child education is widely acknowledged.

“You have continued to work hard for the well-being of others with unquantifiable zeal and zest for the less privileged. You have been doing this with a large heart pulsating with care and compassion for all regardless of class or creed.

“Your motherly disposition to societal welfare is legendary and your exemplary character is worthy of appreciation and emulation.’

“I congratulate you, our distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu. May Almighty God continue to bless you, be with you and grant you divine enablement in your unrelenting quest for a better life for all.”

Members of the House, while congratulating the former Lagos State First Lady during Monday’s plenary session, described her as a mother who cares about all those around her.

Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr. Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, described the Senator as a woman who is conscious of her time.

“When she gives you an appointment for 9 a.m, she works with that 9 a.m and she won’t delay by a minute.

“She is a true mother, who will always care about those who are around her and those who have a link to her,” Eshinlokun-Sanni added.

“People can testify to the fact that all her programmes are all encompassing. Many lives have been impacted through her massive empowerment programmes.

“Also, she has been able to carry many students along with her educational programmes. We can only wish many more years in good health,” Yishawu added.
